It was a weekend for projects. Clark & Dave worked on putting the dividers in the restroom. Becky, Deb, Betty, and others helped bring back the fellowship hall. It has been years since it has not had classroom partitions! Gary, Bruce, Dave, Joe, Rich, Deb, Clark, Julie, Kelli, Don (& kids) were among the people shoving soil and rock. The west side is 75% done. Bruce also pulled up some drooping ceiling gridwork.
This blog shows how the Builders for Christ, a group of the WELS Kingdom Workers, have helped the Kasson congregation of Our Savior Lutheran Church build a classroom addition to their church.

Some storm damage but the floor is underway
The heavy winds and rain ripped off some of the older shingles over the church entrance as well as tipping over the tent. But the greater inconvenience was the water damage that came from the vent to the upstairs furnace. Tonna needs to improve their construction and get the job done!
We also have people putting in the floating tile in the north classrooms and one other room. Schneiders, Gary, and others had worked to clean the floors to have it ready for tile and carpet, which should go in this week.
Gene has the lights in the narthex completed!

September 1 Update
We had a small group at the addition today, finishing ceiling tiles, hanging lights, cleaning, and applying door finishes. Most of the floors will be installed IF we can get the floors clean.
